Football career highlights (with club or other club):
Scoring 51 goals for South Shields FC in one season a personal best for me at the age of 17! Winning the Northern league, getting to the semi-finals of the FA Vase and winning a number of leagues and top goal scorers.

One of our best tournaments was the one at Slough we played great and with great determination also Telford when we picked up maximum points. And the North Shields Tournament when we were runners-up in the BBS Cup.

Successes with club:
Ability Counts league runners-up 2005/06
BBS/VI Cup runners-up 2006/07

My favourite goal/save for the club:
Lee Robinsons goal at Telford, Lee Cawkwell knocked a ball over the top of the defenders Lee Robinson took it on his knee and volleyed it into the top corner! Also Jonathon Kelly’s left foot rifle into the bottom corner from a great little dink from Lee Cawkwell! ~All the goals we score are my favourite but I would be here all day listing them all.

My best saves was Terry Nixon’s penalty save against West Brom and who can forget when Terry saved the ball with his knickys!!!!!!!

My favourite game with the club:
I have a lot of favourites but the ones that stand out are the Slough tournament beating Inter Cosmos 2-1, drawing with Loughborough and the West Brom games.

Professional football:
Football Team(s) I support and why:
Newcastle Newcastle Newcastle cos they’re GREAT!

My favourite football player(s) and why:
THE MIGHTY MR ALAN SHEARER!!!!!!!!! His goal record will tell you why!

My favourite game(s) and why:
Newcastle United v Manchester United 5-0 (because the under dog always has a chance.)

My favourite goal/save and why:
Alan Shearer’s side foot volley from outside the box against Everton smashed into the top right hand corner, because it was a show of class!

My ambitions as a coach:
To help my lads improve in all aspects of their game! To be the best that they can be and to enjoy their football and give everything they have when they go onto the pitch, and of course winning things but that will come if we do all of the above.

Other sports and hobbies I am interested in:
Keeping fit, music, PS2 and reading in the bath.

Other comments:
Let me start by saying thank you to Lee Cawkwell for setting this club up, everybody within the club has benefited in one way or another, me especially. I realise that you get so much more and feel so much part of a team by sharing my knowledge of football. I have played at a great standard of football but nothing can compare to the feeling I get when I train and coach my lads. I would also like to thank the committee members for appointing me as coach and hope I won’t let you down. Finally to all the lads good times are on their way, keep up the good work!
