Nickname:
Cheeksy Robbo

Lee Robinson

Joined club:
1998

Other clubs I have played for:
South Tyneside Marsden CV Juniors

I was supposed to have trials with Darlington FC and Hartlepool United FC but school wouldn’t let me go because of my behaviour.

Position:
Centre forward

Football career highlights:
Winning all four games at Telford in December 2006.

Coming on as sub in three consecutive games to score three consecutive hat tricks in the first division in Slough in February 2001.

Successes with club:
Second division championship 2000
Runners-up in Ability Counts Premier League 2006
Reaching BBS cup final in North Shields in February 2007

My favourite goal/save for the club:
Second goal in the 2-0 win against West Brom B in Telford in December 2006. It wasn’t one of my best goals but one of the most important as it ensured that the team got 12 out of 12 points for the day.

I scored one of my best goals against Martin Kearney who was in goal for Avon at the Slough tournament in February 2001. I was a few yards in my own half, the ball was knocked in front of me for me to volley it first time into the corner.

My favourite game with the club:
3-1 win against Inter Cosmos at Slough in February 2001. I had just scored two hat tricks in the previous games against RNC A and Avon. I was told it would be a bit harder against Cosmos as they were all England players. I came on again at half time and scored another hat trick to give us the 3-1 win.

We beat top of the table West Brom A at Telford in December 2006. I scored a penalty near the end to complete the hat trick and the 3-2 win.

Professional football:
Football Team(s) I support and why
Newcastle United – hometown team

My favourite football player(s) and why:
Alan Shearer because he snubbed Manchester United to sign for his hometown team.

My favourite game(s) and why:
5-0 win against Manchester United

My favourite goal/save and why:
Paul Gascoigne for England against Scotland in Euro 96 for the following reasons: -

Because it’s the type of thing I would do.
Patriotism
Excellent control where he took it over the defender’s head and hit it first time on the volley to score.

My ambitions as a player:
To get into the first division, win the first division and to play for England.

Other sports and hobbies I am interested in:
Playing pool.
Can’t list other hobbies in case police are reading website.
