Football career highlights (with club or other club):
My biggest achievement so far in football was being called up several times a couple of years ago to the England National Cerebral Palsy squad. It was great to be recognised for my goalkeeping ability at such a high level and get such quality coaching. I also played several times for the region PAN Disability Centre for Excellence which was run by Northumbria and Durham Football Associations. My highlight was saving a penalty against West Bromwich Albion A in the second tournament of the 2006 season in Telford. The player who took the penalty was an excellent player and also played for the England Partially sighted team.

Successes with club:
That would be finishing runners-up to Loughbrough Lions in the BBS open tournament in North Shields. Everyone thought I played excellent and the feeling of only getting beat by the team who are currently top of the BBS league was amazing especially after the semi-final victory over West Bromwich Albion A. I was also part of the South Shields team that finished runners-up last season (2006/07) to Middlesbrough in the North East Ability Counts League.

My favourite goal/save for the club:
This is the penalty I saved in the Telford Tournament against West Bromwich Albion. A. Thanks to my penalty the team went on to win the game 3-2. and remained unbeaten that day winning 4 games out of 4.

My favourite game with the club:
It is hard to choose my favourite game for the club, but my 2 favourite tournaments are easily the one in Telford in December 2006 and the North Shields Open Tournament in February 2007. We felt like the best partially sighted team in the country at the end of each.

Professional football:
Football Team(s) I support and why:
In case you hadn’t guessed it is Newcastle because it is my local team and they are class.

My favourite football player(s) and why:
Peter Beardsley and Gazza because they were both skilful.

My favourite game(s) and why:
Probably no better feeling than when Newcastle beat Manchester United 5-0

My favourite goal/save and why:
The goal would be Paul Gascoigne against Scotland in Euro 2006. The skill and ability he showed to beat one of the best defenders at the time (Colin Hendrie) was typical of Gazza. I would have saved it though. My favourite save would have to be Rene Higuita, he performed the famous scorpion kick while playing for Columbia in a friendly against England at Wembley. There was also a couple of saves by Peter Schmeichel one in the game when Manchester united beat Newcastle 1-0 at St James Park in 1996 where he shaped himself like a star to save the ball. The other Schmeichel save was in a champions league game. He saved Rene Wagner's header in Vienna in December 1996 one handed and most people have compared it to the save made by Gordon Banks.

My ambitions as a player:
I want to win the league and some individual trophies and hopefully get called up again by England.

Other sports and hobbies I am interested in:
I like music
